→ Adam Greenfield on Apple’s skeuomorphs

Monday, October 18, 2010

Adam Greenfield noticed Apple’s skeuomorphic applications (compass, calendar, iBooks, Notes) and he makes a statement about it. http://speedbird.wordpress.com/2010/06/25/what-apple-needs-to-do-now/. It was good timing to stumble upon this article because my interests and observations resonate with somebody that I appreciate as a technological commentator. The skeuomorphs of the apps contrast with the hardware development direction. But to be fair, the skeuomorphs will bridge older generations to adopt and understand the gadgets.
